In this project some themes were given to us and so we had to choose one social problem and so i chose the down syndrome. The problem is people had to be more aware of the down syndrome, know what it is and what causes as well. I made my research to find information and visuals, and i found out that the reason a child is born along with the syndrome is due to the reason that those children are born with an extra chromosome, the 21th chromosome that is copy of another. The compositions i created are based on the 21th chromosome and chromosomes in general, making figures with chromosomes and trying to share awareness and send positive messages through image and typography.
